“People in the more rural county’s know what a game warden is,” said Culbertson, “they know what we do and will probably still call us game wardens for the next 20 years.” Culbertson noted that the namp change is more for people who come out from urban areas to recreate. “‘Police’ is a more recognized word,” he said, “when we pull somebody over for breaking the law, things should go a lot smoother.”
