En Plein Air workshop
Linda Lawler will host a workshop at Western View Studio on May 26 and 27. The workshop will be from 8:00 a.m. until noon both days and will accommodate all levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced students in watercolor, oils and pastels. May 31: Living Towns meeting
More than a hundred government officials, tourism officials and civic-minded citizens will be coming to Sperryville on May 31, providing county businesses an opportunity to market goods and services to them.
Sperryville has been chosen by the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission (RRRC) as the site for its next regional “Living Towns" meeting on May 31. More than 100 government officials are expected to attend the daylong meeting, which will focus on issues such as preserving an agricultural and rural character, appropriate economic development and marketing the community to visitors.
