Originally hum New York, Bill Harris lived in the Washington D.C. area for several years before recently moving to Rappahannock County. He performs throughout the countiy but is best known in the metropolitan area, where he has been listed in Washingtonian Magazine’s “Best of Jazz in DC”, and where he was winner of the Hennessy Cognac’s “Best of DC Jazz Competition.” He has performed at all the well known jazz locations in the area, including Blues Alley and the Smithsonian Jazz Cafe.
