Rappahannock athletic teams finish strong in the District
Three Rappahannock teams in contention for district championships all won their last two regular season games. Varsity Softball, Baseball, and Boys’ Soccer Teams all defeated Madison County on May 15. Softball is the regular season Bull Run District champ and has an automatic bid to the Region B Tournament. Softball will have a bye in the quarterfinal round of the Bull Run District Tournament May 18 and will host a semi-final game Tuesday, May 22, at 5:00. Also depending on the results of games involving other teams this week, baseball could end up as the number two team in the district.
