June 2: RAWL’s Hound
Dawg Hoedown
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will hold its annual benefit on Saturday, June 2, starting at 6 p.m. at the SchoolHouse in Sperryville. The Square Dance and Dinner featuring music by The Morrison Brothers Band and food catered by E Cow will include a silent auction and awards to the finest square dancers and the finest outfits. June 6: In-orchard meeting
Rappahannock Extension Office invites each of you to attend an In-orchard meeting scheduled to be held at James Jenkins Orchard, Woodville at 11 a.m. for a tour of the orchard, followed by a discussion of current insect and disease control recommendations, and other orchard management practices. Jenkins Orchard is located from Rt. 231, turn right on to Rt. 621, go about 2 miles. The orchard is on the left by the packing shed. Call the Extension Office at 540-675-3619 to register for this program or for information. After the orchard tour you will have a bagged lunch, bring your own, drinks will be furnished by the host orchardist. You will adjourn around 1 p.m.
