Furthermore, the Town of Warrenton is exploring the possibility of opening a power plant that will generate electricity by burning the county’s waste. This is coupled with the facts that Fauquier County’s property taxes have actually decreased and their teachers salaries are the highest in our region. Now that’s forward thinking! Many will attribute these feats to growth; both in population and industry and they would be correct. But most people in this county don’t want to see either and I am one of them.
