The Fitzmorris carried twice for 13 yards and the Panthers picked up a facemask penalty to move the ball to the 17-yard line. On the next play Butler and Dodson hooked up on a screen pass «g«m, and Dodson jaunted 17 yards for the seme to make it 23-6.
Unfortunately they’d never get the ball again until the final minute Bg then, their shot at a comeback had been dashed.
The Panthers offense struggled netting just 128 yards compared to 335 by Bishop Walsh.
DAtri led the Spartans’ rushing attack with 139 yards on 21 carries, while quarterback Hare threw for 120 yards.
Fitzmorris was the leading rusher for Rappahannock with 40 yards, while Butler threw for 72 yards.
