Photo by Lili Duvall Well, that is my somewhat dainty name, but do not be misled: l am a hound, which means I have a nose, which further means I have an overwhelming determination to follow the scent. So much so that, sensing the track of a coon, a rabbit, a fox, or anything interesting, I will blow right past an invisible fence. The charge would be merely a tickle around the collar for me. Yes, I trotted in from who knows where to Flint Hill, where the rescuers found me. Now I will trot into your life and into your heart All you have to do is come get me at the shelter, and, at least once in a while, permit me to follow my nose.
This past week 5 dogs were joined with new owners.
