Caught smoking
Two 16-year-olds were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and tobacco after being caught with the items Sunday morning behind Lombardy Restaurant in Amissville.
A passerby noticed a car behind the restaurant and persons with a flashlight in the area and called the RCSO to report the suspicious activity.
Deputy ' Angela Deavers and Sgt. Chuck Moore reported to the scene and found three minors on the premises. One of the suspects fled and the other two were arrested. Sheriff Larry Sherertz said the third suspect has since been identified.
The drug paraphernalia confiscated at the scene had a residue on it that may be from marijuana, according to the sheriff's office report. Lab results are not complete on the item.
