Over a 5-year period the school system lost 10 percent of its student body and increased its employees 10 percent. The school budget has doubled in 10 years.
The school debt has doubled in 10 years. Also, the county general fund has been used to complete the track, buy the property part it sits on, replaced roofs, and bought and developed the ball fields adjacent to the elementary school.
As a taxpayer I can no longer afford this. As a representative of other taxpayers, I am pleading their case. There must be a serious reduction in staff
