In the 19 September issue of
the Rappahannock News there was a heading over Roger Cordani’s letter, “A costly miscalculation on school enrollment.”
This heading was apparently chosen by the editorial staff of the paper not Mr.Cordani.
I believe the choice of wording was innocent enough, but “miscalculation” connotes an actual mathematical process that one would go through to arrive at an end number. Did the School Board and Dr. Chappell do this?
