House Open House
A historic “Rosenwald School.” the public is invited to an open house of the current building to talk with alumni and friends of Scrabble School, experience a “moment in Rappahannock history” and lean more about the planned Heritage Center and Senior Center. Open both days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. From Sperryville, follow Rt. 522 south, turn left on Rt. 626, school is less than Vz mile on left. Plenty of parking and refreshments provided. Oct 20: Panther Classic
Golf Tournament
The $ 1,000,000 Panther Classic Golf Tournament will begin on Saturday, Oct 20, at 9 a. m. with a shot gun start at Bowling Green C.C. (South Course) in Front Royal, Va. The format will be a four person Scramble Captain's Choice. Hole in one prizes include: $1,000,000 (Paid out as a 40 year annuity) door prizes include dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington and a Ford Focus, Courtesy of Rappahannock County National Bank and Shenandoah Ford, Trips and more. Lunch will be provided by Burgers'n Things after the Tournament. Proceeds benefit the Rappahannock County School Sports Association. You may enter individually or as a team.
