He proposed that the School Board purchase a service vehicle for the child development specialist to use, noting that other school divisions followed this procedure.
Mrs. Massie recalled that the School Board, at a special transportation meeting in July, had resolved to limit the fleet of service vehicles to seven giving Bloomer authorization to assign the vehicles as he deemed necessary. She noted that the School Board is required by law to furnish only one vehicle (for the Superintendent). ‘‘My recommendation is that we continue upgrading the service vehicles but the total shouldn’t exceed seven,” she said.
