Janet is being considered for one of the fifty-one state awards to be presented to those women who have made the most noteworthy contributions to their individual states. From these fifty-one state winners, the Ten Outstanding Young Women of America will be chosen.
Janet keeps busy with her work as a teacher and her involvement in her church and the county’s scouting program. “I’m enjoying the beauty of Rappahannock and the friendliness of the people here,” she said.
