Sheep Dog Clinic
The United States Border Collie Club will hold its fourth sheep dog training' clinic September 29 and 30 and October 1 at Sunnybrook Farm. White Post. Va. There is no admission charge for spectators.
Lewis Pence, of Sidney. Ohio, the popular and knowledgeable instructor will again be in charge. Mr. Pence’s big Border Collie Spain was grand champion at the Northwest Championship Sheep Dog Trails in Scio, Oregon, in May of this year, and he has placed in the top ten with both Spain and his old campaigner Robin at most of the important trials in the country this summer.
He will have both Spain and Robin and several younger dogs with him to give demonstrations during the clinic. Pence has been breeding, training and showing his Border Collies at sheep dog trials all over the United States for many years.
