Woodward
Jacob Anderson Woodward of Remington, a retired U. S. government employee, died Sept. 20 following a brief illness. He was 68.
A native of Boston. Culpeper County, he was the son of Richard Augustus and Lou Ella Frazier Woodward. He was a member of Barrow’s Run Primitive Baptist Church. Opal.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Lottie Pearl Peyton Woodward. five sons. Edward LeRoy Jenkins. Ruther Glen, Richard Williams Woodward, Midlothian. Franklin Jacob Woodward. Washington, Douglas Eugene Woodward. Remington, and James Robert Woodward, Culpeper, a daughter Mrs. Shirley Lou Campbell. Manassas. 12 grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter.
He also leaves a brother Woodrow Woodward, Lignum, and a sister Mrs. Hattie Jones. Manassas. Funeral services were conducted Sept. 23 at Geest Funeral Home chapel, Culpeper, by Elder Raymond Presley. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
