Answering a question from Board member Walter Masterson, Bloomer acknowledged that the child development specialist was a part-time employee who worked in Rappahannock only three days per week.
Nichols suggested that the Board make the standard IS cents per mile payment to whoever has to drive his own car while Mrs. Hattinger is using another service vehicle.
The Board agreed to keep the service fleet at seven vehicles and directed Bloomer to assign a car to the CD specialist to use for home visits. The Board members also agreed with Nichols' proposal to pay mileage to whoever has to give up his vehicle.
