Hold Meeting
The Chester Gap 4-H Club met Monday, September 18, at the home of Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey. Two new members attended: Jeannie Wines and April Williams. At this meeting we elected new officers: Roxzy Wines, President; Gina Wines, vicepresident; Cindy Williams, secretary; Gail Wines, treasurer; Dannette Hickerson, recreation leader; Sandy Wines, song leader; and Kelly Gilkey, reporter.
We discussed many projects such as beginner sewing, school dress and leisure wear, You & Tots, foods. Home Environment Unit II, and health.
We will be having a bake sale October 7 at Williams Grocery at Chester Gap to reach our goal of SI00 for the new 4-H Recreation Center. We will also be having other fun activities throughout the remaining year.
