Virginia R. Biggs, assistant cashier of the Fauquier National Bank, has been elected president of the Virginia Valley Group of the National Association of Bank Women.
Mrs. Biggs, who has been with Fauquier National since May 1971, joined the NABW in 1973. She has served as its membership chairman, treasurer, secretary and vicechairman, and has attended bi-regional conferences in Williamsburg and Washington.
A graduate of Rappahannock High School, she began her banking career in 1964 at Valley National Bank in Harrisonburg. In 1976 she joined the Bank of Warren in Front Royal, coming from there to Fauquier National.
With her husband Paterson B. Biggs she lives in Flint Hill.
