Mayor Newbill Miller and all six of the Washington town council members were returned to office in their third consecutive term as a group in Tuesday’s elections. Forty of the eligible 131 registered voters in the town turned out to vote in the uncontested race.
Although most town elections include at least one vote for Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse, this year’s ballot did not have a single write-in candidate, silly or serious.
