Homemakers To Meet Flint Hill Homemakers will meet on Tuesday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall with Mrs. Ethel Pullen as hostess. The program will be on fabric painting. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.

Anniversary Celebration The First Baptist Church, Washington will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. W. R. Grant on Sunday, May 16, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Austin from Middleburg will be guest speaker. Dinner will be served and the public is invited.
Booster Club Meeting All interested parents are urged to attend the Rappahannock County High School Booster Club meeting on Monday, May 10 at 8 p.m. in the cafeteria. Officers elected at last meeting were: Barbara Dennis, President; Nancy Tribino Schoppett, VicePresident; Marie Davis, Secretary and Margaret Tylek Strawser, Treasurer.
Methodist Crusade Begins Plans are now underway for the third annual, “Proclaim The Word" sponsored by the Rappahannock United Methodist Churches. The services this year will be conducted by the Rev. Floyd A. Murphy, currently serving St. Mark’s in Arlington. Rev. Murphy, a native of High Point, N. C. became a member of the Virginia United Methodist conference in I960. In February 1970, he and his wife took part in a mission crusade to Haiti, withthe Oriental Missionary Society. The four night crusade here will begin on Sunday, May 16, with a covered dish dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall. Monday night, covered dish dinner at 6:30, service 7:30 at Sperryville Methodist Church. Tuesday service at Flint Hill Methodist at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday covered dish dinner at 6:30 and service at 7:30 at Willis Chapel in Huntly. The public is invited.
