George W. Lee Sr., 56, of Fairfax died Wednesday, April 28. 1982, at Commonwealth Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fairfax by the Rev. B. W. Sanders and Rev. John K. Burke. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was born at Washington on June 15, 1925. He was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was employed at George Mason University as an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys L. Lee; one son. George W. Lee Jr. of Washington; three daughters. Stephanie M. Lee. at home. Debra L. Whetzel of Charlottesville and Nancy C. Menefee of Middletown; three grandchildren and three brothers, William W. Lee of Flint Hill, Thomas E. Lee and James R. Lee, both of Washington.
