the earliest village farmers in western Virginia is known from about 1000 AD and there appears to have been a period of widespread unrest and migration between 1300 and 1500 AD.
This is the third in a series of five talks titled “Warren County Then and Now: 11,000 Years of Changing Lifeways.” This program has been organized by the Thunderbird Museum & Archeological Park and is partially funded by a grant from the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities and Public Policy.
Ms. Fehr is a Staff Archeologist of the Thunderbird Research Corporation. She worked as one of the Excavation Supervisors for the excavations at Cabin Run.
