“Cabin Run: An Era of. Indian Village Life" will be the topic of a talk by April Fehr on Thursday evening. May 6th at 7:30 in the Samuels Library. Poster Contest
In observance of May as Mental Health Month, local students have been competing in a mental health poster contest, sponsored and judged by the Rappahannock Women's Club and Lion’s Club.
Awards for the best posters will be given at assemblies at 2:00 May II at the High School; and 2:00 May 12 at the Elementary School.

Piedmont Board of REALTORS has announced the appointment of Richard H. Matthews of Orange as executive director. Matthews, 55, was editorin-chief of Madiaon County Eagle from 1976 to 1981 and advertising manager of Virginia Metal Products Division in Orange, serving the firm from 1953 to 1974.
