Rappahannock’s entry in the Fauquier junior high soccer league defeated the Gold Rushers last Saturday, 5-1. Jon McCullough opened the scoring with a long shot at the goal and then was credited with an assist on a goal tallied by Vinnie Capuroscio which ended the first half with Rappahannock ahead, 2-0. Early in the second halt, Aaron Schumaker scored on a corner kick after a cross field pass from Capuroscio. Following a cross pass from James Dennis, Schumaker dribbled in and booted his second score. The Gold Rushers were stymied for most of the game by an outstanding defensive
