Charles ''Bud" Warner, the proprietor of the Sperrvville Corner Store, testified that he arrived early in the morning on July 4 and saw the men in the parking lot when he opened up the store. Warner stated that a customer came into the store with a child and “she was very frightened.” She informed Warner that there was fighting in the parking lot.
