Blindness
One evening, my brother came home from school, complaining that he could not see to read; my mother took but little notice of it, supposing it to be common sore eyes; but soon she had to stop him from school. A doctor was called in who pronounced him very nearly blind; his eyes gradually grew worse, and in a short time he was entirely blind.
