Presented in four parts, the following "Life and Times of Sanford Rollins of Virginia" was printed for the author in 1880. Louise S. Varner of S perryville provided The Rappahannock News with a copy of the little 18-page pamphlet which tells the story of a Rappahannock native, who lived over a century and a half ago.

I was born April 14th, 1816, in Rappahannock County, then called Culpeper, within five miles of Washington.
