LOFT MOUNTAIN WAYSIDE (at mile 79.8) - with snack bar, gift shop, and service station - is in operation now.
DUNDO GROUP CAMPGROUND (at mile 83.7). which is reserved for organized youth groups, opened April 1. Reservations can be made by calling Park Headquarters at 703-9992243. Each site will hold up to 20 persons.
Picnic grounds are open all year at Dickey Ridge (at mile 4.6). Elkwallow (at mile 24.1), Pinnacles (at mile 36.7), Big Meadows (at mile 51.3). and South River (at mile 62.9).
Entrance fees are $2.00 per vehicle or 50 cents per bus passenger. All campground fees are $5.00 per site, per night, except for the group campground at Dundo which is at $10 per site, per night.
