Facilities in Shenandoah National Park provide the following services: DICKEY RIDGE VISITOR CENTER (at mile 4.6) is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with exhibits, programs and Park information available; also publications, slides and maps are for sale by the Shenandoah Natural History Association. MATHEWS ARM CAMPGROUNDS (at mile 22.3) opened May 7 on a first-come-first-served basis. A Saturday evening program and a Sunday morning conducted hike are being given during the spring season - May 7 through June 12.

ELKWALLOW WAYSIDE (at mile 24.1) will be open beginning May 14 to provide food service, campers’ supplies, souvenirs and gasoline. PANORAMA RESTAURANT (at mile 31.5), gift shop, and service station are open daily, with breakfast served from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and lunchdinner served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The gift shop and service station are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Campers’ supplies and showers are also available at Panorama.

SKYLAND LODGE (at mile 41.7) is open with breakfast served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., lunch from 12 noon to 3 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; the taproom operates from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Horseback riding is available; the stables are open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An afternoon Rangerconducted walk and an evening program are scheduled on Saturdays during the spring season.

BYRD VISITOR CENTER (at mile 51.0) is open
