Suzanne Updike, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike of Culpeper, spent the weekend with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer.

Mrs. J. W. Fletcher returned to Thornton Hill last week from Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Strother Brown, John and Tom of Jackson Heights, N. Y., were weekend guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown. John and Tom remained for a longer visit with their grandmother. Additional guests Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown, Paul and Jason and Clyde Atkins.

Mrs. B. M. Varner and Fred C. Schaefer were luncheon guest's last Thursday of their cousin. Mrs. Hazel Ritchie in Fredericksburg.

Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Aylor of Aylor were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Lee Swindler and Mrs. Roy Swindler.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dodson of Fairfax were Sunday guests of Mrs. Lester Dodson.
