Culpeper Country Club’s “Kube Kiddie Korps” help build an early lead after the 8-and-under and 9-10 ace divisions survived a South Wales comeback as Culpeper CC edged South Wales 258-237 Saturday in Culpeper to remain^ unbeaten atop the Fauquier-Culpeper Swim League. Roger Kube swept the 8-and-under boys divisions and Ryan Kube and Scott Murray provided points in the 9-10 boys while Meredith Hable swept the 8-and-under girls and Stephanie Hable swept the 9-10 girls to give the host team as much as a 60-point lead during the meet. Jeff Jorgenson continued the assault for Culpeper CC sweeping the 11-12 boys division and swimming up to provide important points in the 13-14 age group.
