Raymond R. “Andy” Guest, 11-year veteran of the Virginia House of Delegates, is unopposed in the November elections but he’s busy politickin' none-the-less, keeping a full schedule of campaign appearances on behalf of other Republican candidates. “1 can’t remember whether I’m here speaking for J. Kenneth Robinson, Paul Trible or Andy Guest,” joked the Front Royal farmer and businessman while speaking in Winchester last week.

Unlike many Republican candidates who have attempted to put distance between themselves and the Reagan administration after the recent announcement of double digit unemployment. Guest has allied himself with Reaganomics through his l close association with Robinson and Trible, both staunch supporters of the president. For the sixth time. Guest is serving as Robinson’s campaign chairman in the race for the 7th District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. In addition, he hosted a farm family picnic two weeks ago at his home on behalf of both Robinson and Trible, Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate.
