Dear j l

Microsurgery is a specialized surgery which when applied to the toot can have excellent results with limited reaction However it is not always indicated A very small deformity is a good indication tor this type of surgery Also, in the elderly it is often a good idea it alt depends on the evaluation which must be made by the doctor There is always some reaction by the body to any type of surgery Also, every patient reacts differently to each procedure Some people tend to swell more than others Discomfort is totally absent with some procedures and some patients experience a moderate amount Medical science has made large st'ides m many areas and this is one of them, but remember even doctors cannot predict the exact reaction to most procedures
