Raymond Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson and Clyde Johnson surprised Mrs. Jessie Dailey with a covered dish birthday dinner over the weekend. Other guests were Kristie Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Johnson, Ruth Rowles, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Highlander and Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Rossen.

William Eaheart Jr. of Centreville was a Saturday afternoon guest of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wayland. The Rev. Hoover Heflin of Front Royal was a Sunday dinner guest of the Waylands.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt attended the Virginia State Foxhound Field Trial held last week at the Aim Hill Wildlife Reserve in Boydton.
