The annual fall events sponsored bv the Madison County Wildlife Association will open with beagle trials on Saturday. November 13.
Trials will start at 8 a.m. on the former John Clore farm at Quaker Run. The race is open to both county and out-of-county beagles. Competition will be in two classes. 13-inch and under and 15-inch and under, with a grand champion to be named in final judging.
On the following Saturday. November 20. bird dog trials will begin at 8 a.m. on the Louis Graves farm near Rochelle. No distinction will be made between county and out-of-countv dogs and five places will be awarded. A puppy trial for dogs 18months and younger will also be offered with ribbons awarded for the top three places.
