Brew Burke Jr., of Woodville died on Saturday, November 6, 1982, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Brew and Lottie Jenkins Burke. He was a farmer and a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church at Boston.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ada Settle Burke; two daughters. Miss Peggy Burke and Mrs. Lottie Thornhill, both of Boston; a son, Ronald Burke of Brightwood; three grandchildren; two stepchildren, Edna Woodward of Castleton and William Richard Bayne of Culpeper. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lottie Seale of Winchester; three brothers, Otis Burke and Woodrow Burke, both of Culpeper and Jesse Burke of Arlington; three half-brothers, Marvin Burke and William Burke, both of Charlottesville and Russell Burke of Sumter, S. C. and his stepmother, Mrs. Bessie Corbin of Rixeyville. Funeral services were held Monday at the GeestJohnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. John McKay. Burial was in Etlan Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lawrence Bache, Otis Lee Burke, William Burke, William Ellis Burke, Bobby Scott and | Richard Hoffman.

Lillian Jenkins

Pentecostal Churchwoman

Mrs. Lillian Virginia Jenkins, 83, of Amissville died on Thursday, November 4, 1982, at the Culpeper Health Care Center.

A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late James Robert and Elizabeth Haines Butler. She was the widow of Hubert Jenkins and was a member of Flint Hill Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include a son, Vernon Robert Jenkins of Amissville; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Martin of Baltimore, Md. and Miss Mamie Jenkins of Bethesda, Md.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday at GeestJohnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Lindsay Savage and Rev. Archie Clatterbuck. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
