by a landslide Rappahannock vote. Estes received 638 votes to re-elect him to that office. TTie election was reported in the Rappahannock News of November 7.
Miss Segar Jones, Miss Dorothy Taylor Davis, Miss Kay Johnston, and Miss Dana Snead of Washington were co-hostesses for a hay ride for forty young people. After the hayride they returned to the home of Miss Snead for dancing and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Jones assisted Judge and Mrs. Snead as chaperones. Appearing at theatres in Front Royal was Play It Cool, Bye By^, Birdie, and It Happened at the WorlcT^\Fair with Elvis Presley. _J
