Choral Society
Rehearsing
The Choral Society of Culpeper will resume rehearsals on Monday, Ian. 31, 7:45 p.m. at the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, 215 S. Main St. New members who are able to read and sing four-part music will be considered and should plan to arrive early at this first rehearsal. Altoes and basses are particularly needed; dues of $10.00 are payable during February.
Works by the following composers will be performed at the May concert: Bruckner, di Lasso, Faure’, Foster, Gershwin, Gilbert & Sullivan, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Morley, Purcell, Scarlatti, Schubert, Thompson and Wilson. For further information, call 8254599 (evenings or weekend) or 347-0541.
