Mr. and Mrs. William Hawkins of Alexandria and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hawkins of Culpeper were here Sunday to visit their mother, Mrs. Mamie Hawkins, who is ill.
Penny Peyton won first place in the Orientation Public Speaking contest, sponsored by National Society of Sons of American Revolution held at Holiday Inn. Saturday and will go to Richmond on February 19 to compete in the state event.
