Mrs. Myrtle Eliza Smoot, 77, of Flint Hill died Saturday, January 22, 1983, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Steve Scoggin. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Smoot was born August 9, 1905, in Warren County, daughter of the late Clifton and Katie Brady Walters. She was married to the late Charles William Smoot.
Surviving are a daughter, Goldie Riley Smoot of Flint Hill; a sister, Guffie Deavers of Front Royal; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Clatterbuck, Dabney Eastham, Craig Smoot, J. P. Walters, Wayne Smoot and Earl Foster.
