Some of the structures receiving a face lift are town landmarks. Sharon and Peter Luke are renovating the old town fire hall for their law offices. Also included in the remodeling are upstairs living quarters with a small kitchen. The Lukes do not plan to rent this part of the building: it will be for their own and their clients’ use. Most of the changes are interior.
Margery Albright has almost finished the renovation of the Manson house on Main St. for her studio and home. She uses part of the large living quarters for a gallery and part for her work in acrylics - and oils. The Rappahannock News has a much-needed face lift on the outside of the building as well as remodeling of its darkroom almost completed. A new roof has put an end to leaks and provides an attic for storage. Stucco siding and a brick walkway have been added to the exterior. Across the Main Street from the News Office, Robert and Patricia Weinberg have remodeled an outbuilding for
