Two upcoming free programs at Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester span the musical spectrum.
The first “Annual” P.D.Q. Bach Festival, a musical spoof featuring works by the least known and most irrelevant son of J.S. Bach, 1807-1742 (sic), will be presented on Saturday, January 29, at 8:30 p.m. in Armstrong Auditorium.
Then on Sunday night, January 30, at 7 p.m. in Armstrong Auditorium, Shenandoah’s voice department will present its annual evening at the opera. In addition to the works of Verdi, arias from French and German opera will be included.
