Literary Fund Loan
Estabrook emphasized that his plan was the work of an amateur with a little free architectural advice. “Perhaps there are improvements possible in some areas,” he said. “This is a start.”
His estimate of construction costs was between $500,000 and $750,000. If literary fund loans are available from the state, yearly payments on a 20-year loan at 3 percent interest would range between $40,000 and $60,000 the first year and $26,000 and $39,000 the last year with 20 decelerating payments.
