After being presented with evidence of (1) need for capital outlay at the high school, (2) sufficient revenues to finance the capital outlay and (3) and adequate plan for expansion at the high school, I will vote to appropriate necessary funds for capital outlay.
4. I will vote for condemnation of land to provide for a landfill after I am convinced of the following:
1. That the cost of the acquisition can be borne without placing an overly heavy burden on the taxpayers, and
2. That a suitable site has been located, and
3. That a private offer to purchase will not accomplish the same result. Condemnation is, in my opinion, an expensive, time consuming process and a last resort.
