Frederick Charles Welty, Jr., 59, of Greenback Farm, Washington, died Wednesday, October 12, 1983, at his residence.
He was a Captain with United Airlines and a native of California. His father was the late Frederick Charles Welty, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Diane Caldwell Welty of Washington; two daughters, Tara Yvonne Georgia Welty of Washington and Susan Welty of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sons, Mark Welty of Dayton, Ohio and Eric Welty of Denver, Colorado; his mother, Mrs. Allyne McAlister of Paso Robles, California; one sister, Barbara Jeter of Paso Robles, California and three grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nathan Welty of Ohio and Heather Welty of Kentucky.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday at St. Paul Episcopal Church Cemetery in Woodville by the Rev. Jennings Hobson.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Russell Spicer
Amissville Resident
Russell Wavely Spicer, 74, of Amissville, died Wednesday, September 28, 1983, at his residence.
A native of Culpeper County, he was the son of the late Vike and Annie Spicer. He was a member of Amissville Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Marion Spicer of Culpeper and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday at Amissville Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph Stirman. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Pickett, William Glascock, Graham Hackley, Frank Donald, Kenneth Glascock and Charles Mills.
