In memory of Mother, Lizzie D Frazier, who passed away October 18.1980 Three years have passed as we remember the day When our blessed Lord called you away Your life was always so sweet and kind A better Mother one will never find Yes Mother we know you are far away But you are in our hearts to stay You reared your children and taught us of Jesus love So that we too might come up above The old Gospel hymns were your delight Because so oft. you'd sing during day or night His precious word to us you have read Before it was our time for bed You bore your last illness and never complained Whether the days were full of sunshine or rain. During those days when your voice . was so weak. Just a few words, sometimes you would speak. Three sentences I shall never forget. When asked if you were trusting Jesus yet. And if you were going home to be with him? I certainly am; Some sweet day. When this life is over.' n. Those three lines were so dear, I can almost hear them ringing in my ear. And now. Mother dear, we have no fear For our meeting again is drawing near. And according to His word, will be together - forever more On that great and peaceful shore
