Sock Hop Cancelled The Halloween Sock Hop sponsored by the Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary has been cancelled. The event will be rescheduled and announced at a later date.
Oktoberfest St. John School on Winchester Street in Warrenton will hold its annual Oktoberfest this Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22. The Oktoberfest will feature crafts, a Christmas show, floral arrangements, home baked goods, excellent German cuisine, games for all ages, puppet shows, pony rides, go-carts, prizes and an auction. The Radford Brothers Band will play on Saturday, 4-8 p.m. Admission is free. The Oktoberfest runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. .1. _
