The Madison County Wildlife Association will open its annual fall events with the Beagle Trials set for Saturday, October 22. The trials will start at 8:80 a.m. on the former John Gore farm at Quaker Run.
This trial is open to both county and out-of-county beagles with competition in two classes. 18 inch and under aiid 15 inch and under. The grand champion w ill be named in final judging. Entry fee will be as follows:
Association Membership fee, $2.00.
Each of 1st two dogs entered, $2.00 each.
Additional dogs* by same owner. $1.00 each.
Bird dog trials are scheduled for the follow ing Saturday, October 29 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Louis W. Graves residence on Rt. 621 one mile east of Rochelle.
