The highlight of the season is the traditional Fox Drag Race and Horn Blowing Contest held at the A. Lawton Blankenbaker farm at Haywood. This event is scheduled for Saturday, November 26 at 10 a.m. Both in-countv and out-of-county participants are " welcome. Entry fee for this event will be the same as listed for the beagle trials.
A homestyle hunt breakfast will be available at the Blankenbaker farm, prepared by Mrs. Lawton Blankenbaker. The menu consists of a long-time specialty, spareribs and sauerkraut served with crackling bread.
Trophies and ribbons will be awarded at the completion of each trial.
